At the same time, the Latvian Antique Automobile Club (Latvijas Antiko Automobilu klubs) founded in 1972, was celebrating its 45th anniversary. As the main organizer of the \u201cRiga Retro\u201d is the same Latvian Antique Automobile Club, these two events were merged into one. Guests from outside Latvia, Estonia, Norway, Finland, Lithuania and Russia came to participate in the event and greet the jubilee. The AAK (Latvijas Antiko Automobilu klubs) not only welcomed the greetings, but also rewarded the most outstanding restoration artists of the Latvian Antique technique for activities in the club.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is a pleasure to note that the only one international nomination for foreigners was won by the Antique Vehicle Club \u201cKlasika\u201d. It’s still nice to have such a solid assessment. And it’s even more pleasant that our Latvian colleagues on a very beautiful and stylish souvenir prize engraved the words of the award in Lithuanian language!<\/span>
